光るはらぺこあおむし

M5AtomとLEDテープではらぺこあおむしを表現しました。
I used M5Atom and LED strip to create "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"

システム構成: ３Dプリンタでハチの巣状の形を作成。
ボックス１つに1つのLEDが来るようにテープを配置。
本当はテープをカットすることなく構成したかったが、どうしても無理なところがいくつか出たので、仕方なく何か所かはカットしてスズメッキ線ではんだ付け。
顔はM5Atom-MatrixのLEDを使って表現。
M5Atom-MatrixにはIMUセンサが内蔵されているので、向きの判別が可能。縦から横にしたときに、あおむし→蛹→蝶の変化をさせてみました。

Create a beehive shape with a 3D printer.
The tape is placed so that one LED comes to each box.
I wanted to make it without cutting the tape, but there were a few places where I couldn't, so I had to cut some of the tape and solder it with tin-plated wire.
The face is represented by the LED on the M5Atom-Matrix.
The M5Atom-Matrix has a built-in IMU sensor, so it can determine the orientation. I made it change from a caterpillar to a chrysalis to a butterfly when I turned it from vertical to horizontal.

ストーリー: @GeekMomProjects さんの作品のオマージュです。
ダイソーでLED CANVAS BOARD COSMOSといういい感じの木枠を見つけて、これで何か作りたいと考えた末の作品です。
M5Atom-Matrixに内蔵されているIMUセンサをうまく活用することが出来たのが自分的には満足ポイントです。

This is an homage to @GeekMomProjects' work. I found a nice wooden frame called LED CANVAS BOARD COSMOS at Daiso, and wanted to make something with it. I was able to make good use of the IMU sensor built into the M5Atom-Matrix, which is a point of satisfaction for me.
